Project Overview
This is a small urban precinctal development on the site of the old City view Hotel located on the corner of Leichhardt Street and Wickham Terrace, Brisbane.  Planning was constrained by height and bulk limitations of the Spring Hill Development Plan of the Brisbane City Council but efficient use has been made of the residential and commercial floor space allowances.  Three discrete buildings have been utilised, to separate functions and to create a sense of place on site.  The basic components are an all-suite hotel with a business centre, back-of-house and catering facilities, a group of three, two storey business “terraces” and a two level tavern with drive-in bottle shop.  The building group is underlain by three levels of basement parking.
