Mode Codd Stenders is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mode Design Corporation Pty Ltd as the result of the merger of Codd Stenders and Mode Design in July 2010. Mode Codd Stenders is a consultancy firm offering multi-disciplinary architectural services in prison architecture, justice architecture, corrections architecture and the design of secure environments. The company was originally formed as Codd Hopgood in 1964. Between 1980 and 1992, it traded as Edwin Codd and Partners Pty Ltd and from 1992 to 1994 as Codd Partnerships Pty Ltd. The company’s name was changed to Codd Stenders Pty Ltd in 1997 and in July 2010, became the trading name Mode Codd Stenders.
Mode Codd Stenders takes advantage of the skills and experience of both Codd Stenders and Mode Design, primarily focusing on commercial, industrial, institutional and domestic construction industries, Federal and State government departments, Local Authorities, private sector land and/or building developers and statutory undertakings.
